Verdict in Shah Rukh, Salman case for hurting religious sentiments to come on June 4
A Delhi court has reserved its order on a criminal complaint filed against Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Actually, a private complaint was registered against both the actors for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by entering on the sets of a temple with their shoes on during a shoot of the TV reality show " Bigg Boss 9 ".

Both the superstars were allegedly shown wearing shoes on the sets of a temple in the show. The date of June 4 has been set for delivering the verdict by additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vandana Jain.

Filed by lawyer Gaurav Gulati, the complaint sought action against both the superstars on charges of hurting religious feelings, along with the producer and director of the reality show and the TV channel.

The lawyer informed the court that in a YouTube video (dated December 15, 2015), he saw actors wearing their shoes on the sets of a Kali temple during shoot of the reality show. He also said that an idol of the goddess was also seen in the background.

However, in its action taken report, the Delhi Police has said that the promotional event was not shot to affect sanctity of a sacred place or to hurt religious sentiments. Thus, no cognizable offense was made against the actors in view of the facts and report.
