Viral story: How Mother Teresa just performed her third miracle?
Mother Teresa was canonised at the Vatican yesterday. From now on she would be referred to as Saint Teresa. Thousands gathered at the Vatican City's St Peter Square. The church celebrated the event by distributing free pizzas to the homeless. The whole atmosphere was festive.

Although there were thousands of people present at the canonisation, there is one particular story that is going viral on the internet. It took two miracles for Mother Teresa to be declared a saint, but just as Pope Francis pronounced Mother Teresa as Saint Teresa of Calcutta, the third miracle happened.

Christina, a 50-year old woman who lives in Barcelona had adopted her son Hannock from Mother Teresa's home in Ethiopia 18 years ago.

Christina said, "I had no idea Mother Teresa was being made a Saint today."

She further said, "On my 50th birthday, my family gifted me a visit to Rome. I have been here a few days and today wandered into St Peter's square and then I saw the portrait of Mother Teresa hanging from the Vatican. This is a miracle. Mother brought me here today."

The 18-year old Hannock who was accompanying his mother looked a bit uncomfortable on seeing his mother's display of emotions.

When asked about it, he said, "I love my mother and thank you Mother Teresa for bringing us together."

Christina herself might be a Catholic, but people from across all religions stopped by to hear her story and marvelled at what looks like the third miracle performed by Saint Teresa.

Saint Teresa had passed away on September 5, 1997. She devoted her entire life towards the "poorest of poor" irrespective of their cast and creed. The Indian government had acknowledged her work by conferring her with the Padma Shri in 1962 and the Bharat Ratna in 1980. She was accorded a state funeral on her demise.
