Virtual social networks can be easy targets for troublemakers
We are getting technical in our day to day life where we love to share our feelings on social networks to grab attention from friends and close ones. Life has become so mechanical that our feelings are mostly liked and commented by others for our support and contentment.

IT HAS become a media through which we can create a great impact on others' mind. We love to share our pleasure and pain on the page where without the slightest hint that we are actually opening our heart out to enormous audience who can enjoy or take advantage of it.

The recent havoc created amongst the North East people residing in Bangalore, and Pune are an actual example for the case when a wrong message is shared on social network. It sometimes creates a panic situation for people rather than generating awareness. Wrong message that are shared and spread may disrupt peace not only in our life but also in our society. Sometimes, hackers and trouble-makers get access to our accounts and misinterpret it both financially and emotionally.

According to a recent study, Facebook’s user base in India has grown from Rs. 80 lakh in 2010 to Rs. 5 crore in 2012. Many people nowadays access the site through mobile phones for better mobility and accessibility. According to the information available on Facebook, it had 901 million active users at the end of March 2012, and approximately 80 percent of these monthly active users were from outside the US and Canada. Another added advantage of Facebook is that it uses more than70 languages that makes it user friendly.

The young generation, who spend hours on social networking sites daily, are actually detaching themselves from the society. It’s better to interact with people directly and sort out various issues rather than taking support of any media. Connectivity is good but communication for the wrong purpose will result in pain in our lives and the society.
