Vivo IPL 2016 prediction: Match 49 - A must win situation for Delhi Daredevils against Rising Pune Supergiants
Match 49 of Vivo IPL 2016 will be played at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday night between the Delhi Daredevils and the Rising Pune Supergiants.

This match assumes significance for Delhi Daredevils who are desperate for two points, while RPS are already out of the race of the playoffs. If it all, Dhoni-led Rising Pune Supergiants would like to play for some pride and win a few games before their exit.

DD need to win at least two more matches to make it to the Playoffs. Delhi Daredevils have 12 points from eleven games and are yet to play 3 more games, including today's match. DD must up their performance from the last game against the Mumbai Indians. Their bowlers were taken to the cleaners first by Krunal Pandya and then their batting collapsed under pressure while chasing a mammoth target.

Ajinkya Rahane has been the only outstanding batsman in the RPS team in this season of IPL and has scored most of the runs for the team. Usman Khwaja too did his bit after he joined in as a replacement.

Likewise Quinton de Kock has played a similar role in the Delhi Daredevils team scoring 381 in 10 matches. However, Delhi's performance today will be quite influenced by how Zaheer Khan and Chris Morris bowl.

RPS had beaten DD by chasing down a target of 163, winning by 7 wickets at Feroz Shah Kotla, in a game earlier this season.

My pick for today are the Delhi Daredevils who are in a much better situation and have been playing as a unit. I also expect Zaheer Khan to rise up to the occasion and put up a good performance today.
