Vivo IPL 2016: Preview and prediction of match 41 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians
A clash takes place on Wednesday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the defending champions Mumbai Indians. RCB who have won their last two games against RPS and the Kings XI will look to maintain the momentum today.

In a look at the points table, there is not much to chose between the two sides. Mumbai Indians stand at the fifth spot with 10 points and Royal Challengers Bangalore just below them at number six with 8 points.

Having a high-class batting with players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Shane Watson and Chris Gayle, ideally RCB should not be worried, but in their bowling department the team has been found wanting.

">Mumbai Indians return for today's game after a 5-day break and would like to forget Sunday's defeat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad as quickly as possible. MI will also have to adapt to the playing conditions of the new venue, which are expected to be very different from Wankhede.

Mumbai Indians have a much better win-loss record of 10-8 in the last 18 IPL matches played between the two sides. It is also notable that at Bengaluru too MI have a better win-loss record of 5-1 against RCB.

Surprisingly, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli who is in sublime form has a very poor record against the Mumbai Indians with just one half century and averages just 23.87.

Honestly, there is not much to chose between both sides and pick a winner. Any of the side which holds its nerves today will emerge victorious. But still I would say the RCB have their nose in front just a wee bit.
