Vivo IPL 2016 Super Sunday preview: Match 19 – Gujarat Lions V/s Royal Challengers Bangalore
Home team Gujarat Lions will clash against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 19 of the Vivo IPL 2016 to be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Sunday.

RCB are a happy lot after their win against Rising Pune Supergiants on Friday. They have for the second time defended a total in this season of IPL. Their bowlers like Shane Watson and Thisara Perera it seems are coming into their own.

Batting form of RCB is no less, with the opening pair of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in sublime form. In case they do fail in a match, they have plenty of backup in the midlle order with players like Sarfaraz Khan, Shane Watson and Mandeep Singh. RCB play their last match today in the western region and head for Hyderabad next.

Gujarat Lions who had been undefeated in their initial three matches lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday. Aaron Finch has been the main batting stay for the Lions in their three successful run chases so far, but in the match in which he failed, so did the team.

Skipper Suresh Raina's return to form is good news for the Gujarat Lions, and proved to the only positive take away from the 10-wicket loss against the Sunrisers. Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja will have to rise up to the occasion and score some runs for the team.

James Faulkner is expected to replace Dale Steyn, who conceded 17 runs in two overs against the Sunrisers. The Lions might even consider playing another spinner in place of Praveen Kumar, who leaked 31 runs in two overs on Thursday.

There is no news yet of Chris Gayle joining back the RCB squad, so the Royal Challengers are expected to stick to the playing XI which won the last game.
