VIVO IPL 2018 match preview: MI still looking for their first win, but will RCB oblige them tonight!
After three back to back losses, Mumbai Indians would ideally look to get the momentum back against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.

In match 14 of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League, the perennial slow starters Mumbai are desperate for a win against aggressive Bangalore.

Despite having lost their first three games, Mumbai might not be panicking just yet. Similar to this season, they had lost five of their first six matches in IPL 2015, including the first four. But later on, they won seven of their remaining eight, and also went on to win the title. The defending champions MI lost their first two matches of IPL 2018 in thrilling last ball/last wicket encounters. While Chennai Super Kings won against them in the tournament opener on the penultimate ball of the last over, the Sunrisers Hyderabad got the better of MI on the last ball of the match played last Thursday.

Mumbai can hope to turn things around as they play at home again after a disappointing defeat against the Daredevils. MI skipper Rohit Sharma is yet to inspire his team with his performance. Mumbai's bowling woes continue despite having a well-balanced side. Mumbai bowlers went for 84 in six overs of powerplay, without striking any wicket.

On the other handRCB continues to be inconsistent in the tournament. Just like IPL 10, even in the 11th season, they are trying to figure out what is exactly wrong with their side. Underplaying themselves, it is crucial for RCB to get their act together.

Bangalore will hope that their star-studded batting with the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers clicks. Spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar have also done well so far, giving the team the much needed support. It's now up to the pacers to deliver in today's game.
