Talking about the petrol version, it comes with a 5-speed manual, whereas the diesel one with a 6-speed automatic gear box along with a 1.6 litre engine with an output of 105PS @ 5250 rpm and a Torque of 153NM @ 3800 rpm.

New Volkswagen Vento has recently arrived and parked smoothly into the Volkswagon showroom, New Delhi on 6th July, 2010. The new Vento gets its esteem class due to its feature of engines, exteriors and interiors as well as it's performance, stylish and elegant looks.

Although up till now, there has been no official announcement of the Volkswagen Vento price, the expected price will be approximately Rs. 8 Lakhs to Rs. 10 Lakh. The car will be available in both options- petrol and diesel.

Talking about the petrol version, it comes with a 5-speed manual, whereas the diesel one with a 6-speed automatic gear box along with a 1.6 litre engine with an output of 105PS @ 5250 rpm and a Torque of 153NM @ 3800 rpm.

Getting to the technical part- the car has 1.6 Litre MPFI Petrol Engine,Max Power – 105 BHP @ 5250 RPM,Max Torque – 153 Nm @ 3800 RPM,5 Speed Manual Transmission or 6 Speed Automatic Transmission.

Whereas Volkswagen Vento Diesel has 1.6 Litre CRDI Diesel Engine,Max Power – 105 BHP @ 4400 RPM,Max Torque – 253 Nm @ 1500-2500 RPM,5 Speed Manual Transmission. The Fuel and Mileage is approximately 11.2 kmpl in city and 15.4 kmpl on highway.

Well for those who are not much into the technical stuff, lets introduce you to the range of features Volkswogan Vento provides you- CD MP3 Player with 4 speakers, Multi function info display including door opening warning, Front Airbags for driver and co-driver, Anti Theft system with interior surveillance and back up alarm, ABS, Climatronic automatic air conditioning with rear AC vents, height adjustable driving seats and steering wheel.

If that is not enough, in the interiors it has got storage compartment in front doors for 1 litre Bottles, front and rear centre armrest, foldable roof handles with coat hooks, sunglass storage inside glove box, and cup holders. Surely, you cant wait for this awesome piece of roadster to be parked beneath your house! With this car, Volkswagen will have seven models on offer in India, ranging from the Polo, Vento, Passat, Touareg, New Bettle, Jetta and Phaeton.

i like the car very much and awaiting for the amount.

I an my family were waiting a value for money car from Volkswagen, and now we have it in the market. It is true that we must buy one but.....after some time. Its German technology has no doubts. Its a car of our dreams.
