Was RTI activist Harinder Dhingra approached for getting case registered against Robert Vadra?
The case registered against Robert Vadra, brother-in-law of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, and former Haryana chief minister BS Hooda by Gurugram Police in connection with the alleged Gurugram land fraud case is becoming curious day by day.

The case was registered by one Surinder Sharma of Nuh claiming to be a social worker. However, highly placed sources told that prior to registration of the present case by Sharma, Gurugram based RTI activist Harinder Dhingara was approached by an aid of an influential minister for getting the case registered as Dhingra was the first person who had got details of the case through RTI route. Harinder Dhingara agreed to lodge an FIR in public interest but with a rider.

Dhingra said that he will lodge not just one FIR against Robert Vadra but three, another two against 2 cabinet ministers of Khattar government, one of them against Finance Minister Abhimanu for evasion of stamp duty by mining firms owned by his family members.

Dhingra it may be recalled had sought permission of Chief Minister Khattar for launching criminal proceedings against Abhimanu but CM Khattar is yet to decide on Dhingra's application.

When approached for comments, Harinder Dhingra confirmed that he was approached but he had agreed to lodge a case against Vadra provided he was assured that his case against the two ministers will also be lodged.
