Her sensational looks in the 47-second video are enough to grab your attention as the 28-year-old actress looks absolutely stunning while lying on the beach.

Julie 2 is an upcoming thriller film produced by Vijay Nair and is a sequel to Shivdasani's 2004 release 'Julie', in which Neha Dhupia had played the lead role of a sex worker, who loses trust in love and decides to become a call girl. According to media reports, Neha had refused to act in the sequel of the movie.

The trailer of the film promises to unmask the dark secrets of Bollywood, the underworld and politics. The tagline for the film reads: 'Bold...Beautiful...Blessed' – that has been used for the lead character.

Before making her debut in Bollywood, Lakshmi has acted in many Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. Julie 2 marks her 50th film, which is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 6, 2017.

Talking about her costumes and weight loss & gaining process for the film, the actress said, "In fact, I will be seen in 96 different outfits. Also, I was asked to lose and then put on weight for this film. For the first look of the film, I had to lose 10-11 kilos and soon after, I had to gain more than what I had to lose."

The film also features Ravi Kishen, Rati Agnihotri, Sahil Salathia, Aditya Srivastava, Pankaj Tripathi and Nishikant Kamant.
