Watch superb mash-up! This fusion of Indian, Pakistani national anthems is winning hearts
Amid rising tensions and ongoing dispute over the Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan, the artists of both nations recently united to create a 'Peace Anthem' that is going viral on social media for all the good reasons.

In the video, artists from both countries sing their renditions of both countries' national anthems – 'Jana Gana Mana' (India's national anthem) and 'Pak Sarzamin' (Pakistan's national anthem) in a medley. This video was posted on Sunday afternoon on Facebook page 'Voice of Ram' – a pro-peace social media group that advocates peace between the two neighbouring countries.

The video titled – 'Peace Anthem' features singers – Alycia Dias, Natasha Baig, J Ali, Zeeshan Ali (Pakistan) and Nikhil Dsouza, Siddharth Basrur, Isheeta Chakrvarty, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Arun Haridas Kamath, Meher Mistry, Adil Manuel, Raghav & Arjun (India) – from both India & Pakistan.

The group Voice of Ram is an initiative of filmmaker and activist Ram Subramanian.

The video opens with the words: "When we open our borders to art, peace comes along," and concludes with the thoughts, "Let's stand together for peace."

The video which instantly went viral on social media has already received 9,500 likes and has been viewed more than 330,000 times.

This is a commendable initiative as well as a beautiful example of how we can restore peace by forgetting our differences and standing for each other's interests.

The video has been applauded by social media users who welcomed the gesture of both nations' artists over singing the combined national anthems saying that people of both nations can make things great again.
