Watch video: Two gruesome incidents of cruelty to dogs emerge in Hyderabad
It seems that the city of Hyderabad has lately become intolerant towards animals, as two new videos of cruelty towards dogs have emerged on the same day.

In the first video, a group of three boys is seen burning three puppies alive by tying them together and covering them with hay, dry grass and twigs. The puppies are heard squealing in terror, and desperately trying to escape the fire, but the boys are seen pushing them back into the fire using sticks. The act was filmed by one of the boys of the group and posted on Facebook.

This incident took place at Vazir graveyard near Ek Minar mosque in Hyderabad's Musheerabad on 16th July. Others came to know about this incident on Wednesday, when the video posted on Facebook went viral on social media within no time.

A police case has been registered by a local animal rights organization at Musheerabad police station. The case is under investigation and the police are trying to identify the persons involved.

B Ravi Kumar Reddy, Musheerabad sub-inspector said, "We have not arrested anybody so far. We are still trying to identify the persons in the video. Prima facie, they all appear to be minors. The case is under investigation," as reported by Hindustan Times.

In the second video, said to have been taken at the Nampally area, a man is seen taking aim at a dog and shooting it dead.

These gory incidents of cruelty to dogs come barely weeks after of two medicos had flung a stray dog from their roof top at Kundrathur in Chennai. The dog had however survived miraculously, with only minor fractures on its legs and was treated at the Tamil Nadu Veterinary University Hospital in Chennai.
