We love you: Message of Israelis to Iranians
The leaders of both Israel and Iran should get some sense from their countrymen, who all want peace..

AS THEY say humanity transcends everything, the YouTube video that shows Israelites talking to supposed foes Iranians and saying that they love them, professes just that. While hate politics is swinging dangerously between these two countries, the countrymen do not share the feelings of either hate or distrust and the video that have been viewed 40,000 times in a single day makes much more sense than the politicians.

Peace activists in Israel have come up with this video that showcases an Israelite mother, a father, children, school teacher, doctor, actor and people from various walks of life saying that they do not hate Iranians and that they don’t know them but they love them. Accompanied with a musical score these people are making an impact with their simple words.

The video, that has been uploaded on YouTube starts like a letter addressed to the people of Iran and says some lines that are sure to touch everyone. It adds “For there to be a war between us, first we must be afraid of each other. I'm not afraid of you, I do not hate you, we don't hate you.” A similar kind of video posted by activist in Iran features on YouTube says We Love You (too!).

While leaders of these countries are at loggerheads, people are trying their best to stop any war that seems to be the next step in the political arena. Another group has started a Facebook initiative called Israel-loves-Iran. With 45,520 likes, this page promotes love, peace and harmony. After all everyone wants just that- love.
