Union Budget
What does entrepreneurs and industrialists expect from the upcoming Union Budget?
It is due to industrialization, India has grown economically and sociologically. Both small scale industries and the large scale industries play a prominent role in economic growth and development of the nation. Dominantly, the contribution of small scale sector can be noticed every year. But, the sector is presently undergoing a bad phase and are worried about the microeconomics deceleration, power and water crisis, infrastructural problems, poor civic management.

The sector expects good things from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The small scale industrialist expect that the BJP will fetch much required economic reforms to them so that SME (small scale sector) will grow throughout the nation firmly.

Merinews.com had a word with few industrialists from Noida, Gurgaon entrepreneurs and industrialists association to know about their expectations from the upcoming union budget government.

Vipin Malhan, President of Noida Entrepreneurs Association

''There are two type of industries in the country, one SME and large scale sector. Both play an prominent role in the economy. The large scale sector industries get all the resources of finance from aboard at a very cheap cost, as they are known. But what about SME, it actually suffers. It is privileged with minimum resources and is lagging behind. The government should provide reasonable and solid concession to the SME industry so it can grow firmly in the economy. It is the major employed industry, so labour needs to be provided with certain amount of power. And somewhere large scale industries are exploiting the SME which needs to be avoided or abolished.''

''Our expectation with govt is to reform the Labour Act, there should be free flow of goods, concession on Excise Duty and equality must reside all over the nation. The unit sector in Uttrakhand and Uttarkashi is presently suffering all because of abrupt flow of input goods or raw material and I feel that needs to be resolve as soon as possible. We can't lead any of industry to suffer in economy. Our association is expecting certain relief from the govt like, price preference upto 15 percent over the quotation of large scale units, waiver of security deposit to the monetary limit for which the units registered, implement of GST etc and along with it, equality between the excise duty of small and large scale industries.''

MSC Jain, Joint Entrepreneur of Noida Entrepreneurs Association

''We are expecting a course of action on problems, which small scale industries are facing presently. The industry play a very important role in economic development of the nation then one should'nt be neglected. But the government need to be more focused on labour incentive techniques, which these industries believe in. These industries are the one which are good example of such techniques. And I feel the unionism should evade away from these industries. Labour Act is need to be reformed by the govt.''

Deepak Raheja, Joint industrialist in Gurgaon Industrial Association

''I am expecting a certain amount of concession from the BJP government on excise duty. The development in railway is deploying. The main problem is transportation. The basic hike on petrol or diesel price lead the hike in the transportation prices of trucks and other means of transportation. So, the government should provide a relaxation to the industries in this case at least. The railways need investment to be made and if the railways pursue then the normal fuel cost will be one fourth as compared to the transportation like trucks.''

V K Tandon, Joint industrialist in Gurgaon Industrial Association

''All industry needs concession on excise duty and SSI reforms. The infrastructural problems is the main thing, which haunt us more. So, some corrective measures need to be taken towards it. The economy can only grow if these industries work efficiently.

Pramil Jindal, Vice President of Gurgaon Industrial Association

''There are three things which need to be concentrated on, one the growth of the business as it has become complicated now, second the infrastructure and lastly, transportation, which needs to reform with time.''
