PAID CHARACTER Transfer is a feature that helps you move your Buy WOW Account between different accounts and even to other realms. But there are some restrictions applied to the transfers. The transfer of each character demands 25USD with taxes applicable in certain areas. We accept the payments only though credit cards (Master Card, Discover, Visa and American Express) for the transaction.
Sometimes I am stuck while trying to transfer the characters from or to a particular realm, why does this happen?
This may be because the particular realm you have chosen may not be the correct one due to any of the following reasons.
The realm may be completely filed by the time you try to enter it.
The realm may have been launched in not more than 90 days.
May be the realm is soon to be loaded with free character migration from and to the realm.
So these factors may lead to the restriction of certain realms to the users. The authorities regularly go through the realms to keep them updated and hence the availability can change at any time without any notice. It should also be noted that Blizzard has got every right to stop the Paid Character Transfer from or to a particular realm any time, at its will.
Why it is that many other realms except mine meets the criteria?
Blizzard takes care of all the factors that lead to availability of different realms. It is quite common that many realms that appear to be similar to the viewers in every way, even in case of playability, may be different in case of their availability. This may be purely because of some technical difficulties. These technical problems will restrict the transfer facilities between certain realms at a given time.
Blizzard aims at providing you with the best selection of destination you have ever experienced. Well, to accomplish this we will have to ensure that all the realms are stable.
So, is it possible for me to transfer the characters to the realm I choose?
The new feature now enables faster and easier character transfer between realms, than the older version. But still it offers some restrictions to Paid Character Transfer. Let us look at some of the basic restrictions offered.
Here are the account restrictions
You can transfer characters between accounts only if you have registered in both the accounts. We don’t encourage the transfer between family members or guild mates or even friends.
You will not be able to transfer characters from trial accounts. If you have got to get rid of the trial restrictions you will have to upgrade to the paid version.
It is impossible to transfer characters from of to a account that has been suspended temporarily or closed permanently.
It is impossible for those with ‘expansion’ accounts to transfer their characters to a ‘non-expansion’ account. But the reverse is possible.
Let’s have a look at the standard restrictions
It is necessary that the auctions as well as the mailbox of a character have got to be completely cleared before it can be used for transfer.
If a character leads a particular guild, he/she cannot be transferred from one account to another unless as until he/she steps down from the post of the leader. If your character leads a guild but still you need to transfer it to a different account you will either have to disperse your guild or else hand over your guild to another member.
It is a possibility that your character gets locked at certain points of the transfer process. If your transfer process is on the mid way while you log into game, the transfer will fail for sure and this will cause you to have to restart the whole thing. The restart process can be done only through our website.
So it is sure that logging into game before the completion of the transfer process, will lead to a delay in transfer. So it would be better to keep logged out of the account until and unless the whole process gets completed. It would be good for you to know that by the time the transfer process gets completed, all the mails in your mailbox would get deleted automatically.
What are the character restrictions?
If you have to transfer the character you will have to make sure that it has reached at least up to level 10.
If the character has got a lot of gold with it cannot be transferred. Let us look at the gold limit that characters in different limits can afford.
Level 10-30: gold limit- 300
Level 31-50: gold limit- 1000
Level 51-69: gold limit- 5000
Level 70 - 80: gold limit- 20000
It is impossible to transfer a character within three days of the last transfer.
It will be curious to note that “Death Knights” are eligible for transfer only and only if they make it up to level 60.
Here are the realm restrictions
If a realm is not in the list of Eligible Sources it would be impossible to move a character from it to a different realm.
But it is possible to transfer character between accounts, even if the realm is not included in the list of Eligible Sources, if your character is in the same realm.
Those realms which are in the list of Ineligible Destination is not eligible to receive characters from a different realm.
But a character which is included in the realm listed in the Ineligible Destination can be transferred between accounts if the character remains on the same realm.
Characters can be transferred to PvP realm if and only if no faction violation occurs. This means that if you have on eof your characters in the PvP realm, it would be impossible to transfer other characters from the opposing faction into the same realm.
You can have only ten of your characters in your realm. Beyond that you will not be able to transfer characters to a particular realm.
It is highly possible that the realms with frequent load of queues could be picked off from the eligible destination list. So that over population can be prevented.
You will have to note that once you log out of a World of Warcraft account you character cannot be used for Paid Character Transfer up to the next twenty minutes.
Does it make any difference if I have a RP realm?
Well, it has to be noted that the Role Playing (RP) tag has got no much effect on the restrictions offered. If the realm is a “RP-PvP” realm, it would be considered as PvP realm. But if it is marked only “RP” it is just a normal PvE realm. PvP will have the slandered faction restriction applied on it.
What do I have got to do to transfer the characters to a different realm?
For transferring the characters to another realm the first thing you have got to do is log on to Account Management Section of the account and then click on the button which says Paid Character Transfer and them you will have to follow the instructions given. You will have to give the payment information during the process. Once you do it and conform the transfers we will send you the conformation mail. After this process you will have to wait for at least five days until you can play using the characters which you have chosen for transfer.
I tried transferring a character soon after I logged pout of the game, but I could not. Why does this happen?
Once you are logged out of the game you cannot transfer the characters until the next twenty minutes. So try transferring after twenty minutes.
I tried to transfer a character to another realm, but it still remains in the old realm. The worst part is that I am unable to play with the character anymore. What am I supposed to do?
This problem is purely because once you start the transfer process, it may take about 5 days to complete and until that time you will not be able to play using the character in either realms. It would be always better that you never chose to transfer all your characters all at once or else you wouldn’t be able to play with any of them for five days.
Is it possible to transfer characters between non-oceanic and oceanic realms?
If your realm is classified as oceanic it just refers the local time settings of the realm. You can be assured that this classification will in no way effect the transfer ability of your characters.
When I try to transfer a character an error message pops up informing that the character cannot be transferred because there are messages in the mailbox, but I have none. What is going on?
This problem arrives because you may still have some inbound mail which has not yet been received. All you have got to do is wait for the mail to come and them delete it and then try for transfer once again. If the problem still remains, you can feel free to contact our in-game support (GM’s).
