When should homeschooling start?
Have you helped your kid sing the ABC song or the 'Twinkle Twinkle' rhyme? Have you been a good guide to your child while walking, talking and in self-feeding? If yes, then you have already started homeschooling for your kid, even if you don't agree with it. Every parent 'home schools' their child way before their child starts to go to school, and kids in the process also learn a lot from homeschooling.

Many parents wonder when to start home schooling their child. Starting early also has some advantages and the same can also be said for waiting till the children goes to a traditional school. But, the final decision should be made by the parent after comparing both the options and deciding the best one for their children. Try to observe the readiness in your child for learning and observation, and it will be the best time when you start the homeschooling.

Some advantages of homeschooling are:

Knowledge base – Homeschooling helps the children to learn more in a short period of time. This is because you will be focusing only on your children instead of a class, which comprises of a number of other children. You can easily get tuned to, how your children learns.

Strong family bonding - Homeschooling helps in building a strong family bond between you and your child. As you will spend a quality time with your children by teaching them with fun methods, reading, reciting poems and stories, answering questions and playing games will teach them basic concepts.

It is safer - More and more families are turning to homeschooling every day because of concerns for their child's safety. Everyday we read about numerous incidents of kidnapping and rapes in newspapers, which makes the parent think twice before admitting their kids to school.

It is healthier – Kids are less immune and have maximum risk of getting cold or virus while going to school, hence at home, the parents create a safe environment to their kids.

The children start absorbing things from a very tender age. It would be well advised if homeschooling parents allow their youngsters lead them along the education highway, thus in the process help in the development of the child as well. If this happens, it is for sure going to be appreciated by parents also.
