Who will win Lok Sabha election from Gurgaon? Social leaders back their favourites
Gurgaon, as the rest of the country is in the throes of election fever and tomorrow the city will decide between Yogendra Yadav of AAP, Rao Dharampal of Congress and Rao Inderjit of BJP. Trying to gauge the atmosphere of the city, we talked to a few councillors and the Mayor of the city to understand, who they think will win the election and who they think would be a close second.

Nisha Singh, MCG Councillor, Ward 30

''According to a survey, Yogendra Yadav is going to win in all the three key districts of Harayana- Rewari, Mewat and Gurgaon. Especially in Rewari and Mewat as he is not a typical vote bank person and his appeal surpasses caste, religion or place. What the others have against them is that they are handicapped by region and caste, which is not the case with Yogendra Yadav.''

''Also another report shows that Yogendra Yadav has made a lot of progress in Gurgaon as well. Rewari is his home town and he and his entire family is respected a lot by the people, both urban and rural. In Mewat, he has been working hard. In Gurgaon, every candidate has a presence but we are doing good work here as well.''

Mangat Ram Bagri, MCG Councillor, Ward 10

''Rao Inderjit will win this election. BJP doesn't have any competitor and no other person can defeat Rao Indrejit.''

RS Rathee, Gurgaon Citizen's Council

Vimal Yadav, Mayor

''100 percent Rao Inderjit will win and that too, mark my words he will get more than 2,00,000 votes. I don't think there is any other person, who can actually be a competition but Zakir Hussain of INLD does look like a promising person.''
