Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party says that the only solution to develop Bundelkhand is a separate statehood. This would make the administration more efficient and also boost industrialisation in the state leading to growth in employment opportunities

Sanjay Pandey, the convener of ’Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party’ says that there is a single solution to develop Bundelkhand region. The solution is, own statehood. He says that just the diamond mines of Panna district earn Rs 700 crores for Central government and Rs 1400 crores for Madhya Pradesh (MP) government per year. But if the state is created, then this revenue will be used to develop their own region. After formation of Bundelkhand state, the administration will also be efficient. Industrialisation will also increase, leading to means of employment.


The four crore people of Bundelkhand speak Bundeli language and practice the same culture throughout. So they collectively deserve their statehood. Pandey, the leader of Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party says that the area of Bundelkhand region is nearly 2.5 lakh square kilometres, which is more than the combined areas of Tripura, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Mizoram and Manipur. If Bundelkhand is formed, it will be the ninth biggest state of India.
