Why Aamir Khan has started smoking again?
A whole year after he kept himself away from cigarettes, actor Aamir Khan has once again started smoking. The reason, the pre-release nervousness of his upcoming film Dangal. The 50-year old actor it is reported gets nervous before every release.

It happened with him even before Pk, Dhoom 3 and Talash were released. So now with less than a month left for the release of Dangal, Aamir was bound to enter the nervousness phase.

Aamir had given up smoking in January this year but has recently taken on the habit once again, courtesy his film's upcoming release.

What's interesting is that Aamir's son Azad does not like his father smoking. Aamir is just not allowed to light a cigarette whenever Azad is around.

Although it's nothing new for Aamir, but he has poured his heart out in Dangal and the film is extremely close to him.

While shooting for the film, Aamir even developed major health issues and often complained of breathlessness after putting on a lot of weight to transform his body for playing ex-wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.

"Though I went through body building to get a certain look for my film, this ('Dangal') one was one of the most dramatic body transformations so far. The film has two phases. For one part, I had to put on weight. So, I weighed 96 kgs with 38 per cent body fat and that I had to reduce to 9 per cent body fat within five months. That was a huge task," Aamir said.

Based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters to become international wrestlers, `Dangal' has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao and co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, `Dangal' will release across screens on December 23, 2016.
