An e-page should be created in the Home Ministry where one can file an e-FIR giving the details of complaints and the respective police station with the name of the officer in charge in that police outpost. It would help in keeping corruption low.
TODAY I want to ask a simple question from the Chief Justice of India and the same from our law minister and every other minister and those working in the law enforcement agencies, why do we need a media trial every time to get justice in this country? What has gone wrong with the system? I feel there has been no accountability fixed and the police officers in this nation follow verbal orders of their seniors in order to keep their postings intact rather than going by the law books of the land in every case. That is the real problem.
If our Home Minister P Chidambaram does a little favour, then I would like to request him to make an e-page in the Home Ministry where one can file an e-FIR giving the details of complaints and the respective police station with the name of the officer in charge in that police outpost. I think that would help in checking the wrong practices going on in our police stations since ages.
The web page would be able to keep all the records intact and then no guilty police officer, minister and bureaucrat can escape from the legal punishment. It would also help in keeping the corruption low and then no one would fear from the corrupt police officers who have been found guilty time and again of abusing their powers and misusing their post and raping the law again and again.
