Vyasmoorthyji has covered most of the reasons for remembering God only after sertain age. Primarily we all want to have peaceful end without suffering and for this there is no certainity. Hence the natural path is to approach the almighty and hope that you can 'bribe' him by puja. Those with scientific attitude naturally want to find some link of the creator with Big bang (as very nicely suggested by Dr Bhaumik in the book 'Code name God'.I belong to this category of thinkers. Once a person reaches 60 years of age, by that time his/her offsprings are well settled in life. At that time one starts of thinking about life. We born with freshness and new. We grow , acquire knowledge , expertise ourselves, earn wealth , fame, knowledge, and so many things, we set up a family, have kids, grow them and establish them in life. at the cost of self sacrifice. Because these are the duties of life and we must do it with responsibility. Once every thing is done one should give back whatever lifely things he / she earn, like wealth, knowledge, fame etc. One can only continue with sipitual things, have a more diciplined schedule with less tension and responsibility. So you need to go to god. A Sr. Citizen, Two Engineering Degree from IIT, one MBA Degree from Juran Institute of Management, Detroit , USA, One Law Degree from ILS Pune.
