Why not silent pad yatra or a dharna to fetch a result?
Instead of blocking the roads they should resolve the cases peacefully through panchayat or councillors, etc. Let us not waste precious time and fuel.

PRESENTLY, IN Gurgaon it has become a tradition to stop traffic at national highways and main junctions, which is indeed very unfair.

People do so when rallying against various issues such as land acquiration, water and power supply, rore wells, choked drains, police non-co-operation or non-recording of FIRs.

One fails to understand in what way the public is benefitted other than there occuring wastage of precocious time of the officials, business, and the travelers from all parts of the country.

Not only is there wastage of time - even fuel is wasted, which is considered next to gold, in terms of its value. You can’t imagine how much fuel is wasted in an hour of slow-moving vehicles, etc.

Why can’t our agrieved public hold peace padyatra or dharnas at the offices of the police headquarters/ DC/ Commissioner, etc. Just imagine if you are rushing a patient to a hospital but due to traffic jam, the patient dies before he or she reaches the hospital or a person misses the train or a flight by reaching late at the railway station or at the airport.

They should firstly approach the local panchyat, councillor/ MLA, etc., before taking this type of drastic step. Can the agitating public think twice before they conduct such a chain-formed stoppage on the highway and main roads. Let's not waste precious time and fuel.
