Will rest of film '3' songs follow in Kolaveri di's footsteps?
The rest of the sound track of the movie 3, having the chart-topping and You-Tube-busting Kolavari di song, will be released today in Chennai. Will it also be bull's eye for rest of the songs of the film?

THE KOLAVERI Di cast and crew are releasing their audio tracks of the film 3 today in Chennai, and after the amazing response to the Kolaveri song, they are expecting a lot from the rest of the soundtracks of the movie 3. Shruti Hasan and Dhanush, the actors of the movie, basking in the glory of the song Kolaveri cannot have enough, and they feel that the rest of the sound track will have the same effect as kolaveri. The song had a national impact but will rest of the songs have the same effect is something that remains to be seen. After all, miracles happen only once in a blue moon.

While Kolaveri Di has been taken up and sung, re-sung in various languages, and the audience is also not far from expecting something this unique and different offering from the makers of 3, as far as their other songs are concerned. As reported in, Shruti and Dhanush both are really excited and have tweeted about their anticipation. They are releasing the rest of the tracks in a Chennai studio. If we go by Dhanush’s tweet then all need to keep their ears open as all the 10 tracks in the movie are about to rock us.

A masterpiece happens once but who knows we might be surprised, and the Kolaveri song might not be just a fluke. For that the audience has to wait for a few days but for now kolaveri is the most popular song of 2011. The song has got 20 plus million YouTube views, and the number is increasing per hour, although the song was released on November 16.

Not only is the song going viral over YouTube but people are actually coming up with their version in order to satire on the government, girls and just about anything under the sun. So much so that the song has reached Pakistan where five enthusiasts are questioning the government about ‘where is democracy jee.’ Dhanush, the singer and the son-in-law of Rajnikanth also tweaked his song and sang it for in an award ceremony in Mumbai. Let’s see if 2011 is the year for more than one kolaveri di.
