Will SRK maintain his brave stand?
Politicians and actors are all businessmen first and think in terms of gain and loss. SRK may have stood the backlash from Shiv Sena strongly but everyone expects the businessman in him to give in. Perhaps only the star in him keeps him from it.
SRK SAYS he wants Pakistani players for his IPL team. Shiv Sena says it wants SRK to apologise in public for his ‘Pak love’ or go to Lahore. BJP and Muslim groups surprisingly come together against Sena’s politics. Rahul goes to Mumbai and tells Sena Mumbai belongs to everyone and it is not a property of the Thakreys’.

What all this boils down to is business. The Sena, BJP, Rahul Gandhi and Shahrukh Khan all put their business first and no one wants to loose. The latest publicity gimmick is acting brave. But it backfires sometimes.

Shahrukh Khan has invited controversy for himself by commenting on the inclusion of Pak players in his IPL team. But now his business stands to suffer and he cannot take any stand strongly. His movie My Name is Khan's release has been shrouded in trouble. His stardom won’t allow him to apologize either.

But, the issue gains true pathos when SRK’s young daughter wants to know whether they will have to leave India for Lahore or any other place.

Who has given the Sena and the MNS right to spit venom against any one who does not belong to their cult? Who has given them the right to throw any one out of Mumbai or the country? Why are they allowed to poke their noses in every issue they find beneficial to their politics? Who gave them the license to beat north Indians for appearing in exams in Mumbai.

They can not assume to speak for Mumbai when they didn’t come forward in Mumbai’s greatest hour of need after the 26/11 attack. Mumbai must ask herself why she allows MNS and Sena to play politics on their issues when they can’t stand for them in need.
