Microsoft officially unveiled Windows Phone 7 on February 15 in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress 2010.
Microsoft COO, Kevin Turner said that Microsoft expects to roll out the new OS and devices across Europe in October and across the United States in November. He also said there's 200 million smartphones right now being sold and in the next three to five years, there will be 400 to 450 million sold. More than double the number.
