Wit & Humour: After a failed career in singing Abhijeet now losses troll job; Twitter suspends singer's account
Another 'youth' goes jobless!

Twitter troll and former (well, almost) Bollywood playback singer (did I hear singer?) Abhijeet Bhattacharya has lost another job.

After miserably failing in his singing career, Abhijeet has recently received another setback. The singer will now no longer be able to troll people as his Twitter account has been suspended.

Since the pseudo singer has been out of work after his last release (in what 793 BC?), he had taken up a job on Twitter to 'protect nationalism' (now, that's what I call a real superhero! And you thought they only existed in comic books) and offer certificates of nationalism and patriotism. In case you need one now, you might have to look for some other patriotism-certificate-on-demand troll.

Twitter suspended Abhijeet's account for posting derogatory, threatening and hate-filled tweets, mostly against women.

"There is rumour she took money for two hours and didn't satisfy the client... Big racket. (sic)," Abhijeet had written about famous JNU student-activist Shehla Rashid.

Although it is unclear whether Abhijeet is doing this to occupy headlines, get an award (a real one) or genuinely likes to spread hatred and be a troll, but one thing is for sure, his offensive tweets have mostly been targetted at women or minorities.

Also, there could be another reason: This could be Abhijeet's attempt at glorifying the shameful incident which had him cry like a child. In 2016, Abhijeet was sent to jail after a female journalist, Swati Chaturvedi had filed a complaint with the Mumbai police against him for his communal & inflammatory tweets. Abhijeet was arrested and later released on bail after which he was in tears.

Experts have also pointed out that they could be tears of joy as Abhijeet was finally back in news, something he had failed to do during his short lived singing career.

Reportedly, he has also claimed that the 'entire nation is with him' (he's got to be kidding!).

To understand the fact that some thousands or even million followers on Twitter do not constitute a nation, will take Abhijeet another renaissance to understand.

Interestingly, Abhijeet's old pal and fellow singer Sonu Nigam (remember the guy who recently got his head tonsured?) has also quit Twitter in Abhijeet's support. Nigam was recently heard singing: 'Yeh dosti hum nahin chodenge'(what a moving example of expressing 'Trollidarity'!).
