With her zest for music, Amanda Pollard is a rising star
Amanda Pollard is one of the latest stars to rise within the R&B/Soul/Circuit/Pop/Urban Pop circuit with her down-to-earth style and voice. At a time when other artists have chosen the route of conformity, she has impressed with her style.
AMANDA POLLARD is one of the latest stars to rise within the R&B/Soul/Circuit/Pop/Urban Pop circuit with her down to earth style and voice. At a time when other artists have chosen the route of conformity leading to mediocrity, she has impressed with her style of singing.
She is one of the few that is launching a musical revolution, whose goal is take the original style of R&B to its roots including contact with the listener. Her concerts are packed and creative as she has dance styles that rival even the most seasoned performers.
The diva of Carolina R&B has been able to receive inspiration from her musical idols as diverse as Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Ella Fitzgerald, and Alicia Keyes to form a style that is Amanda Pollard.
Amanda Pollard also quotes John 3:16 and thanks God for giving her the voice and style that has lead her to have a successful career.
She even studied music at the Northwest School Of The Arts and graduated with high honours before pursuing a career in music.
Amanda Pollard is the recipient of the Carolina Music Awards for 2010. She is currently in the running for the Best Female R&B Singer for 2010 in North Carolina. The majority of her fans wrote her name and song “Lovin That” as the best song for 2010 of the same awards.
The news does not come as a surprise since the music of Amanda Pollard is down to earth and natural. The song “Lovin That” in my opinion reflects a love for life and the joys of living a positive life.
The song “Future Love” also talked about love in the future and how it will be. How will the person will react to love. The song “Loss For Words” reflects the times when a person wants to say something but the words do not come out.

“Alone” is a song which has reflected the times when a person feels lonely. The song reflects [all of this is my opinion] about how it is difficult to be lonely and that it can be a depressing moment.
The times that one feels lonely are used to reflect on what could be done to recover from such an emotion. The only exception would be the time for loneliness that reflects a need to recover from the stress of everyday life.

Amanda Pollard has done various concerts in the Southeastern area of the United States of America. She hopes to do more shows around the country and the world. I am a believer that she deserves to be heard.
I am willing to predict that one day Amanda Pollard may perform in places such as Casa De Campo in the Dominican Republic, Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Royal Albert Hall in London, and maybe even India.
Amanda Pollard at the current rate may become the Diva of 21st Century R&B/Soul/Circuit/Pop/Urban Pop in which future generations will base their music. She deserves to have her music heard.
