A female commuter, who fainted on the Spanish Metro, will not take life for granted again after she was miraculously saved by an unnamed police officer. The incident got widespread attention as the woman was saved from the path of a fast approaching train in Madrid. The incident took place just before 2pm local time Monday, inside Madrid's Marqués de Vadillo metro station.
People were seen running in panic as the 51-year-old woman fell onto the rail tracks after fainting. In the entire hustle bustle, a man, seen running towards the woman, picked her up and crossed over to the other side of the platform.
