Acting on the call of women's organisations to hold nationwide protests against the outrageous comments made by TMC MP Tapas Pal, women activists raised their voice outside the Parliament today, demanding his expulsion.

several other activists of women's organizations. They were arrested
and detained at Parliament House Police Station for the day.
