Women in Gurgaon dies after a bitter fight with husband; police suspects suicide
The wife of a marketing executive, a 32-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her house in Sector 9A on Tuesday. Her husband was away, and reached home only on Tuesday afternoon. The child was the sole witness to his mother's death. Police said that her seven-year-old son had sat the entire night prodding his mother's body, expecting her to wake up.

As reported by, Police said that the victim, Payal, lived with her husband, Vikram and the seven-year-old son on the first floor, while the in-laws lived on the ground floor. The couple had a huge fight on Monday night, after which the husband left.

The mother puked and fainted in the bathroom, according to the police. Her son thought she was unconscious and sat by her all night in the bathroom, nudging her to wake up. She could have died within minutes, police said.

The son informed his grandparents about his mother next morning after which they immediately contacted the police. The victim's husband could not be contacted on his phone, but he rushed to the police station soon after he learnt about his wife's death.

Pradyuman Singh, the investigating officer said "Prima facie, it seems like a case of suicide by consuming poison. The husband admitted to fighting with his wife, but claimed that he was with a friend in Delhi. We are verifying that. We are waiting for the victim's family to reach here."
