A controversy has been created by the Director General of Andhra Police when he remarked that the provocative dress codes of modern day women and girls tend to make them vulnerable to sexual assaults.
THIS OBSERVATION has found support from C C Patil, the Minister of Women and Child welfare of Karnataka. He also agrees to the fact that the dresses worn by women and girls today are risky and unsafe and tend to precipitate grave dangers to the wearers because the men try to make them victims of their depravation and lust, leading to molestation, sexual harassment and even rape.
