Women with higher IQ tend to experiment with drugs
Women who are bright and have turned 30 are at their prime, have their kitties full and they want to have another go at their life. They want to do things that they always wanted to do or so it seems from the present study.

TEENAGE AND adolescence is a time when people really like to experiment with life. Smoking, drinking, and having fun with illegal drugs is quite a common thing. But after one's twenties, normally, most people who experiment leave this waywardness and get into a more constructive mode of life. Especially women, who have high expectations from their life and have good IQ gets really serious with life and career.

However, according to new research women who are intelligent or have high IQ are more prone to take illegal drugs in their thirties as they are open to experiment. According to the same study, cannabis, and ecstasy would attract these women a lot more than women with not a very high IQ. Since they are more open to ideas they are more open to experiment.

The study was conducted by Dr James White from Cardiff University. He found that women with a higher IQ score are more prone to taking illegal drugs than women whose IQ score read lower. He looked into the records of 8,000 women from 1970’s and they all had their IQ’s measured when they were five or ten years of age.

These women were also asked whether they had taken drugs when they were in their teens and again when they touched 30. According to their answers, women aged 30 who had higher than average IQs – between 107 and 150 -  were more than twice as likely to have used illegal substances compared to  those with scores of less than 95. As reported in dailymail.com, the researcher said that women who have more IQ tend to like taking risk and for them once or twice is no big deal.
