Work starts on inauguration of Obama's second term
Obama is returning to the White House to serve the second term. And preparations for the inauguration, which have already begun to welcome Barack Obama, are in full swing.

THE TOP hotels are being booked, or are already booked for the day. The ceremony includes inaugural address, parade and eleven official balls. Usually these kinds of inaugural functions draw large attendance, and the joint congressional committee on inaugural ceremonies says that the 2009 ceremony has drawn the largest attendance and created a history.

The inauguration of the president Obama's second term, which was scheduled for January 20th has been changed to January 21st but the 20th amendment of the constitution states that the date should be January 20th. The officials at the house of Senate says that the date is switched because January 20th is Sunday, according to

The tickets of the inaugural swearing-in ceremony will be distributed in January to the representatives who will be elected this week. The demand of inaugural tickets has exceeded the limits and it is said that the office will conduct lottery for the tickets in December.

The presidential inauguration ceremony on 21st January will be followed by a traditional parade which will start at Pennsylvania Avenue and end at the White House. The whole event will be organized by Joint Task Force-Military District of Washington and Presidential Inaugural Committee, reported AFP.
