World celebrates Tulip Festival; Canada''s largest festival thronged by residents and visitors
The Canadian Tulip Festival is considered to be the world's largest tulip festival, a major event held annually each May in Ottawa and Ontario. Kin Naresh Dubey from Toronto informed that he was in Ottawa for a visit to the 67th edition of the festival running which had fun activities for the visitors including walks, photography, tours, entertainment and fireworks.

According to Ottawa Tourism, each year in May, the Canadian Tulip Festival celebrates the return of spring by showcasing over a million tulips across Canada's capital region. "The festival is the largest of its kind in the world and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the globe," they stated.

From March to early June, Tulip festivals are held all across the world to celebrate the blooming season of the magnificent lower. One such festival has also been held in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in the foothills of Zabarwan Range is the largest tulip garden in Asia with seven terraces of the garden. One can see both the standard single and double bloom tulips with many layers here.

The Tulip Garden in Srinagar is surrounded by scenic lush green hills with attractive gardens of Mughal era and Dal Lake. Along with tulip garden, one can also visit the Mughal Gardens which is a confluence of Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashm-E-Shahi with cavalcading fountains.

Tulip Festivals are held in several cities around the world and more so in Holland. In USA cities of Albany, New York, Ottawa, Ontario; Gatineau, Quebec; Montreal, Quebec; Holland, Michigan; Lehi, Utah; Orange City, Iowa; Pella, Iowa; Mount Vernon, Washington, Woodburn, Oregon, and many more. 

In Netherlands and Holland, during this time, tulip festivals are also popular tourist attractions. The tulips are displayed throughout the cities.

The Canadian Tulip Festival is considered to be the world's largest tulip festival, is a major event held annually each May in Ottawa and Ontario. 

Also, in countries such as Australia, India and UK, tulips are considered as harbinger of spring to be celebrated as festival for tourists and residents.
