Sasan being pioneer in the protection of right of children stressed upon the people to work together to protect fundamental rights of the child enshrined in the constitution. He urged the government to create an environment where every child gets an opportunity for over all physical development, health and social protection. He appealed to the people to send their children for education and make sure that female child gets uninterrupted education.
Sasan expressed his serious concern over declining female ratio as compared to make in the society. He said that the female feticide is the main cause for this declining female ratio and said that female feticide is one of the greatest and heinous crime against humanity and described it as worst type of gender discrimination. He urged the government to sternly deal with the perpetrator of this heinous crime. He further demanded that the guilty should be booked under IPC 304 (Abetment) which is non-available offence. He also urged the government to strictly enforce PC-PNDT Act.
He encouraged the students to raise their voice against social evils prevailing in the society and contribute to make this beautifully world a heaven on the earth where people from all the coast and creeds, religion culture, progress, prosper together bringing peace satiability and development as first priority over war and cultural confrontation.
Sister Rosamma Principal Convent School highlighted the achievements of the institution and stressed upon the students to strictly adhere to moral values and serve the society as a good citizen. She delivered detailed lecture on importance of developed world and also highlighted importance of protection to children for their overall personality developments and also highlighted side effect of the smoking.
Ms. Jannat, Anan and Sachita won first, second and third prizes respectively. The prizes were distributed by S. Gurdeep Singh Sasan. The following students conducted proceedings Nawal introductory speech, Srista Welcomes speech and comparing by Aby Shaka and Mahi and reporting incharge was Shriya Sharma.
