World T20: India vs Bangladesh: Men in Blue beat Tigers by 1 run
It was close, very close. But, India managed to save itself from tasting defeat against Bangladesh and possibly getting knocked out of the World T20 tournament. In the last-over, last-ball thriller India beat Bangladesh by 1 run.

Hardik Pandya, who was given the responsibility to bowl the last over in which 11 runs were required, conceded two boundaries on two consecutive deliveries. He was about to be declared villain, but, then the story changed after he took two consecutive wickets at a crucial stage of the match.

On last ball Bangladesh needed just two runs to stop India's journey in WT20 and strengthen its chances of making into semi-finals. Captain Dhoni, senior bowler Ashish Nehra surrounded Hardik to give him some valuable tips to handle such pressure situation. Looks their advise worked. The Bangladeshi batsmen, Shuvagata Hom failed to touch the ball and it went straight into Dhoni's gloves.

But, the Bangladeshi bastmen ran in a bid to equalize the scores and take the match to super over. Dhoni also ran to hit the wicket and he managed to do it. Ground umpire referred the case to the third umpire. And the decision was "Out".

With this dismissal of Bangladesh batsman Mustafizur Rahman, India clinched the thriller and kept the chances of winning the World T20 alive.

At Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field first. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave a steady start to the team with a partnership of 42 runs in 6 overs.

First to go was Rohit Sharma (18) at the score of 42 runs. Shikhar Dhwan (23) followed him soon and got out when team's score was 45. After that Virat Kohli (24) and Suresh Raina (30) took the responsibility of maintaining the flow of runs.

Finally India managed to set a target of 147 runs for Bangladesh with the help of Hardik (15), Dhoni (13 not out) and Jadeja's 12 runs.

Chasing the target Bangladesh suffered the first loss at the score of just 11 runs. But after that Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman had a good partnership and managed to keep Bangladesh out of trouble in early stage of the game.

But then some good bowling performance by Indian spinner R. Ashwin, who took 2 wickets in his four overs by giving just 20 runs, and Ravindra Jadeja (4-22-2) ensured that Bangladeshi bastmen could not make it a one sided match at any stage of the game. Ashwin was also declared Man of the Match.

With this victory India is now placed second in its group with New Zealand at top. Now if India beat Australia in Super 10 match to be played on Sunday, it will be the second team after New Zealand to reach semis from Sper 10 Group 2.
