We got some interesting answers that might seal the fate of Jism 3 in 3D. While most of the people I talked to were shy and coy about the whole subject, I knew one person who would give me a direct and blatant answer so I called up my childhood buddy Niti. Hearing my question, pat came the reply, “Yes, of course. I would like to watch Jism 3 in 3D. Why wouldn't I? She asked. It would be fun as everything would appear so lifelike,” was her tongue in cheek reply. That is a point. The concept of 3D is to get a feel of the movie and be a part of the plot. What better way to be a part of a thriller with some hot shot seduction than a 3D. May be this would be a huge pull for the upcoming Pooja Bhatt's movie that would hit the theatres the next year.
However, Kaustav Rakshit was not so enthusiastic. He was more logical and said, “Having witnessed Haunted, I would probably bail out of the entire 3D thing as Indian filmmakers still have to grow a lot in order to make a good 3D movie.” However he is not opposed to the idea of actually watching the Jism 3 sequel provided that the second one, like the first does well. Alleyn Beganza (name changed) however is not a fan of any erotica. “I would not go to either the 2D or the 3D as I cannot watch women getting naked just for the heck of it. Who walks on a beach wearing a white gown, blue beads and heavy kajal,” she ridiculed.
Vikrant Thakur also has a similar opinion and says that he likes watching movies so that he can experience something fantastical like the sci fi movie but movies like Jism do not attract him. On a lighter note though, he says, “I would love to try out Jism 3 in 3D as I am yet to see a 3D movie and would like to start with Jism.” If almost most of the population is like the people who I talked to then how come Different Shades of Grey is selling like hot cakes and how come Jism 2 songs and movie trailers are going viral over YouTube? Makes me wonder if I talked to the right set of people or if there is more than what meets the eye.
