Wrestler Narsingh Yadav feels no Olympics pressure
Narsingh Yadav seems to be confident of his display during London Olympics. He does not feel the Olympics pressure too.

INDIA HAS high hopes from many of its athletes who are representing the nation in London for the Olympic Games, which are scheduled to take place from 27 July-12 August 2012. One such Indian athlete, Narsingh Yadav, Commonwealth gold medalist, is expected to do well in his sport, wrestling, and bring laurels to the country by finishing on the podium - at the least. In a NNIS video, he says that he does not feel any pressure and his concentration lies on winning a medal.

India has been doing very well in wrestling at the international scenario too, so there are expectations from Indian sports fans. Sushil Kumar, after winning a medal during the last Olympics has popularised the sport and another medal from Narsingh would just help the sport in growing further.

Olympics only takes places once every four years, so participating in the Olympics is considered to be an achievement in itself. Nar Singh says that playing in the Olympics is a big dream. He also states that he has prepared well enough so as to bring back home a medal. In the NNIS video, he seems to be a confident wrestler and says, “You can expect me to do well.” This is the sort of confidence which is required for the athlete to do well. He seems to have a sense of positive energy flowing though him, when it comes to London Olympics.

Apart from Nar Singh, there are many such athletes who must be confident about their performance. But, the competition these athletes are going to face from participants all over the world is going to be of top class. They cannot take anything for granted. They need to produce their A class performance if they are to win the competition that they are representing their country in the Olympics.
