Writing a good article for publishing is an art

Even a layman can write a beautiful article in case he or she is a bit serious about language, mistakes, and utilizing the correct information in an efficient way.

WITH Information Technology taking over communication, most of us - the retired personnel (laymen) and other professionals in journalism, do log on to a website of their choice though it may not be of any monetary gain. They are very keen and happy when their article is well taken care of, may be at times with a few changes here and there by the edit team, which is in good and healthy spirit. In fact, the edit team tries to make your article more presentable and impressive.

To get good and positive results from a layman’s angle we must take care of the following to avoid any rejection:

1. The article written should take care of proper grammer, and avoid spelling mistakes.
2. The words written should not exceed the permissible word limit.
3. It should be complete in conveying the message.
4. The information communicated must be well-supported with proof, if required later.
5. The article should not be borrowed or copied from another contributor, blogger or a source word for word.
6. The language and words used should not be abusive or hurtful.
7. An appropriate image or picture should be attached with the article to improve chances of acceptance.
