As the family rivalry is going on in the background, a new rivalry begins between Zoya and Parma as Zoya faces humiliation from Parma while campaigning for her father. She confronts him and slaps him. Though the hero doesn’t show this humiliation on his face but he decides to take revenge. And he sleeps with her and proves her characterless in front of her parents and the whole of Almore. Due to this tragedy her family disowns Zoya and she decides to kill Parma. In the mean time Parma’s mother comes in the picture, dies, and turns the film upside down. Parma remembers his mother’s last word to protect Zoya from both the families.
As circumstances go out of hand and the heads of both the families begin to worry about their political career, Parma finds himself on the run with the girl, with both families going all out to kill them. No escape, no retreat, no surrender: they are up against a dead-end where hope dies quickly.
Sadly, the movie is not as exciting as the plot but still has some spark till the late second half but inthe end the director looks confused as to how to end the movie. Lastly, I can say that songs of Ishaqzaade definitely have some extra spark, and the moves of Chanda and Parma, together, rocks the theater.
