ICC Cricket World Cup 2015
Yet another record achieved by captain MS Dhoni post India's victory against Zimbabwe
Just as MS Dhoni struck a winning sixer in the India-Zimbabwe match, Team India won 10 world cup matches in a row. Apart from the above, captain MS Dhoni also made a record of being the only Indian captain to have won 99 matches in the ODIs.

MS Dhoni, who is counted among the best finishers of the world, had been able to maintain a very impressive ODI average of 52.14 before the crucial match against Zimbabwe. MS Dhoni is not only a very clever statistician, but he also happens to be a great motivator who keeps his cool even in the most challenging conditions.

His excellent running between the wickets, brilliant footwork and most importantly capability to stay on the wicket is par excellence which has given immense contribution in the journey of Team India. He has played a vital role in the match against Zimbabwe as Team India had already lost 4 important wickets but it was the sensible batting by MS Dhoni that Team India could win this match. As expected, he batted well but also landed an all out support to Raina playing on other end in finishing his ton.

During this particular match, Team India got past another record partnership for 5th wicket when they crossed 141 runs mark. For the records, the last 5th wicket partnership record was made by Ajay Jadeja and Robin Singh against Australia in 1999 World Cup.

It is apprehended that Team India, under the dynamic leadership of captain MS Dhoni, will outplay Bangladesh in the quarterfinals. Most of the Indian supporters are certainly hoping that Team India do not have to face Australia or New Zealand in the semi finals.

But at the moment we must appreciate the hard work put in by MS Dhoni in achieving the two records. Hope that he will go a long way in scaling many more glorious records.
