Yogendra Yadav's video diary: Swaraj India's unique experiment in MCD election
Swaraj India, the newly formed political party that claims to have been formed to usher-in new-age politics for a new India, has started a unique experiment for the upcoming Delhi Municipal Corporation elections.

An interesting experiment by the party's election campaign team has been noticed on social media. Every day after campaigning, Swaraj India has been releasing a video titled "Yogendra Yadav's Video Diary" on party convenor Yogendra Yadav's personal Facebook page.

Through these video diaries, Yogendra Yadav shares his experiences of the day's campaigns, talks about the candidates of Swaraj India, describes the party's vision for MCD, and shares the stories of people of Delhi and their expectations from these elections which give a different colour to every episode of the video diary.

Significantly, Swaraj India is the first party in the country which has made "environment" the core agenda for the municipal elections campaign. The party has also raised the slogan of "Saaf Dil, Saaf Dilli", which has also been mentioned in Yogendra Yadav's video diaries. Also, Swaraj India has given special preference to youth & women during the selection of candidates for MCD polls.

Yogendra Yadav has described Swaraj India as the beginning of new-age politics in India. The way the party has been promoting women leadership of substance, unlike other parties which have mostly reduced women candidates to just dummies in place of their husband or father, is highly appreciative of the newly formed party. When it comes to setting agenda, be it candidate selection, youth/women participation, real issues, etc, Swaraj India has led from the front until now.
