Yogurt helpful for heart disease
Yogurt has been found out to be a very good product which can help in reducing the chances of heart attacks. The research had been conducted by Australian scientists.

IT HAS been found out in recent times that there are various foods and drinks that help people by protecting them from various diseases. In a recent study, which had been conducted by researchers from the University of East Anglia and King’s College at London had found out that a glass of wine would help in reducing the chances of Osteoporosis. Similarly, a research conducted by Australian scientists has found out that yogurt helps in reducing the thickening of the blood vessels, which might lead to heart attacks. It is good news for people suffering from the disease.

Cow milk is primarily used in the preparation of yogurt, but in some other parts of the world buffalo milk, goat’s milk, yaks milk etc are also used in its preparation.

The study that has been conducted by the Australian Scientists, found out that women above the age of 70 years who had reasonable amount of yogurt had less chances of suffering form heart diseases, as the product is said to increase the levels of HDL cholesterol, which is said to be very good for the heart, as reported by zeenews.india.com. The research had been conducted with around 1080 women, where they were asked about their lifestyle and their diet.

Apart from this important usage, Yogurt is also considered to be very good for various other reasons. It is capable of providing a boost to your immunity, helps in healing after intestinal infections. It is also a very good source for Protein and Calcium. Yogurt has the potential of adding years to your life.
