'Young and Vibrant minds' commemorates Devi Jagran

YOUNG AND Vibrant minds, Defence Colony, Agra commemorated the third grand Maa Vaishnow Devi Jagran' on November 17. The occasion was momentous as people from all walks of life stepped in to support the noble cause. Response was overwhelming. We are touched and feel indebted to all of you who pitched in to support the noble cause.

JP Musical Group was invited to chant devotional songs dedicated to deities. Female singer, Mamta Sharma sang beautiful songs; one of her numbers, Baitiyaan Kyon Parayee hain immediately struck the chord with the audience, especially ladies. With his fabulous voice, team lead of JP group, JP touched the heart of audience. His number dedicated to Sai left audience spellbound. However, blind singer, Vinod Bansal stole the show with his melodious voice. He was the toast of the audience that night.

The devotional evening was solemnized employing the contribution received from the residents of Defence Colony, Kirti Nagar, Sohalla and Chawali. As a team lead, I would like to applause the support of volunteers who worked day in day out for a week to materialize the programme. These include Chandrashekhar, Shiv, Deepak, Lala Agarwal, Kishan, Neetu, Vicky, Srikant and Lakhan.

Local leaders, Ms Kanta Devi and Hari Babu graced the occasion. On behalf of team, I am also indebted to elders like Sri Bangali Ram Yadav, Sri Harish Chandra Sharma, Sri Pappu Yadav, Sri Jagram Yadav, Sri Shailendra, Sri Ashok Mittal, Sri Naresh Baghel, M/S Vidhi Beauty Parlour and host of others.

Our objective behind this noble cause has been to create a wonderful platform wherein people from all walks of life can converge and pay their obeisance to goddess Durga and other deities and seek blessings for peace and prosperity. The programme was dedicated to ladies who take pain, sacrifice for the welfare of their families. We hope people will keep on tendering their invaluable support incessantly in future also.
