A youth delegation of Bangladesh will pay a week-long visit to India from October 6 at the invitation of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka and the Department of Youth and Sports of India.
The delegation comprises 100 Bangladeshi youths of diverse professions including doctors, engineers, management graduates,
business people, journalists, entrepreneurs and students.
During the visit, the delegation is expected to call on the President of India Shri
Pranab Mukherjee and Minister in charge of Youth Affairs &
Sports Shri Ajay Maken.
The delegation is scheduled to visit New Delhi, Gurgaon, Agra, Kolkata and Shantiniketan, different cultural and historical sites apart from visits to educational, business, IT and technological institutions of India.
The delegation members will also interact with their counterparts in India. The visit will be flagged off at a function at
Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in the capital on October 4. The High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Pankaj Saran will address the members of the delegation.
