Youth has the power to change the world
Young minds of today hold the power to make a difference and burn the borders of difference to make a world free of terrorism. It may seem as an utopian idea today but is the only truth. It's time for youth to stand united against terrorism
IT IS the seventh day. It is another hard day after many days of terror, trauma and horror stories of many a survivors. Fear and scare is the aftermath. Bloodshed, faceless bodies and injuries have left imprints. Overexposure from media, though it is their job to provide news, hurts the sensitive minds and leaves wondering, “Is there a safe place on the earth to live in?”

People we elect with trust, hoping they would give us a safe and beautiful India, are busy washing dirty linen in public. The foreigners, who were visiting, are waiting to go back at the earliest. With the blame game in full swing, lot of stories of bravery of anger coming up, the big question that haunts the nation today is, what next?

Terrorism, world over, has become a disease that has not found a cure. The aim may be to create fear but is an act of cowardice. They hide and hide and hide. And feel they are the heroes.

If these young terrorists can work so diligently for hatred, for the cause that they are made to believe is right; then why cannot these people turn constructive to create a free world? Unsolicited advice and preaching is easy to give till we begin somewhere. Think, what can be done?

The least we can do is to stand against terrorism as one world, which knows, no continent, country, state, city or village. Instead of pointing a finger at the wrong steps taken by one or the other, let us hope that there will be one body like the United Nation (definitely more powerful) that has an answer to all. Perhaps, it’s too much to ask for because we have till date only lived for ourselves. But now the commandos, police officers and the good Samaritans have opened a chapter of selflessness that we need to put to practice.

Dreams take days to realise, however, to make it possible we need to take the first step. Spread the message of love and humanity among youngsters - for they are the people who can make a difference.

With fire in the belly and the iron still hot, strike the will of the young world to join hands. It’s now or never.
