YouTube's new avatar has edit videos and subscribe options
One of the most popular video sharing websites in the world, YouTube, has come up with some changes. Now, people can also edit their videos, there's a subscribe button that has been included, and the user interface would also be available in 51 languages.
YOUTUBE, WHICH is considered to be the most popular video sharing website in the world, has brought in some changes in its video user interface. YouTube was formed in February 2005, after which it has seen great success in terms of videos that are uploaded on a daily basis. The three employees, who started it, are Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim.
Some of the new changes that have been introduced are: when we finish watching a particular video, there are various other videos that comes in the form of a grid, which would be similar to the video last watched. Hence, from now on, you have many more options to choose from at once. Earlier, it used to come in the form of a film strip at the bottom of the screen.
There are millions of registered YouTube users around the world but some of them like camera shop owner Neeraj Kamerawala, are not aware of the changes, and when queried told Merinews that he will have to check out the new changes on the site. Then there's gym instructor Kriti Batra who uses YouTube quite frequently, who says that, “the new look is making the page cluttered, but having said that I also feel that after incorporating the changes YouTube has a lot to offer and will keep the users interested”.
Now, once you log into your user account, you can edit your videos to some extent as YouTube has added a cloud-based video editing platform WeVideo too. This feature will, thus, enable the user to edit the video accordingly. Apart from these changes YouTube interface would be available in 51 different languages. The site has also added a subscribe button.
