YSRCP MLA Roja suspended from AP assembly for a year
The Andhra Pradesh state assembly on Friday evening suspended YSRCP MLA Roja for a period of one year for her `unparliamentary comments' against the leader of the house and the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday morning, by going close to his chair.
On Friday morning the house was adjourned when she went to his chair and allegedly accused him as `Call Chandraabu....Money Chandrababu' alleging him as the main accused in the `call money sex scandal'.

In the evening, the house adopted a resolution moved by the legislatory affairs minister Yanamal Ramakrishnudu seeking to suspend her from the house for a period of one year due to her gross indiscipline in the house.

Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao announced adoption of the resolution and asked her to leave the house. He refused to give permission to leader of opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on this issue, till she leaves from the house.

Even the speaker did not responded to the suggestion given by BJP leader Vishnu Kumar Raju to give her an opportunity to express her point of view, stating that even death sentenced person is given a `last chance' to speak.

Chief Whip Kaluva Srinivasulu accused that YSRCP members are attempting to disrupt a discussion on call money racket as more than 65 of their party leaders were involved in various cases. Both speaker and Ramakrishnudu refuge to budget the request for a lenient view against a women member. "Discipline is equal to all members", they asserted.

The call money racket rocked the Andhra Pradesh assembly for the second day, resulting in suspension of all the opposition leaders. Speaker K Shiva Prasad suspended Opposition party in the House for insisting on a discussion on the sensational call money sex racket.

After the house assemble on Friday The members of YSR Congress rushed to the speaker's podium and raised slogans against the government, alleging involvement of ruling TDP leaders in the scandal. They demanded for the discussion about the call money scam.

The opposition party was in no mood to relent despite the Telugu Desam Party-led government's announcement that the issue will be taken up for debate after discussion on BR Ambedkar. As they continued to surround the speaker's podium and raise slogans,

Legislative Affairs Minister Y. Ramakrishnudu moved a resolution for their suspension and the same was adopted by a voice vote. Leader of opposition Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and 54 other Legislators were suspended by Speaker Kodela till special debate on B.R. Ambedkar is completed.

Opposition leaders refused to leave the house and speaker called in marshals, who bodily lifted them out. The members later protested their suspension at the assembly entrance. YS Jagan speaking at media point says that Chandrabbau is using Ambedkar's name only to divert the call money issue and supress the Opposition's voice on legitimate issues.
