Z-category security cover to Amar Singh: What about security to commoners?
It refers to shocking media reports about Z-category security cover restored to Samajwadi Party (Mulayamsingh Yadav group) leader Amar Singh after split-war going in the ruling party in UP.

Media reports indicate Amar Singh having written to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) about possible life-threat from Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav of the other faction of Samajwadi Party (Akhilesh Yadav group).

If threat-perception is from one single person, then investigation should be done in the matter rather than wasting hard-earned tax payers' money on about two dozen security persons including some NSG commandos for Amar Singh.

It is noteworthy that same Amar Singh earlier got Z-security cover (later withdrawn) for threat from Mulayam Singh Yadav because of Amar Singh having been expelled from the party by Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Even Mulayam Singh Yadav is decorated with Z-security cover. Such liberal security covers for just being in politics is totally uncalled for that too at a time when security of ordinary citizens is always at risk.

The central government should urgently review security covers provided to politicians, and bring it to bare minimum freeing security-forces for safety and security of commoners. Security covers of both Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh should be immediately withdrawn.
