Official Black Friday Store openings at 200+ retail stores and malls started at 8:00 PM (Thanksgiving Day) with Wal-Mart (WMT), Sears (SHLD), and Toys 'R Us. Target joined Black Friday 2012 with its deals and discounts at 9:00 PM
Stores typically open in the wee hours of the morning on the day after Thanksgiving known as Black Friday 2012, named for the period when stores traditionally turn a profit for the year. But Black Friday openings have crept earlier and earlier over the past few years. Now, stores from Wal-Mart to Toys R Us are opening their doors on Thanksgiving evening, hoping Americans will be willing to shop soon after they finish their pumpkin pie.

Most other Pavilion p series desktops see $20 or $30 cuts off their base configuration prices, though you can get $80 off a p6-2355 with Intel Core i3-3220 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 1.5TB hard drive, and DVD burner for $499.99
